Make Your Voices Heard on Tuesday, March 27!
Join us for Youth Day at the Capitol 2018 (YDAC), an annual event connecting youth, community experts and local policymakers.
Our goal is to get young people talking with their legislators about issues that are important to them. We want young people to understand that our elected officials work for the people, including young people!
The day is divided into five “Tracks,” each of which includes meeting with legislators, attending an interactive advocacy training as well as touring the “1968 Exhibit” at the Minnesota History Center. Groups can choose to come early or stay late to allow for tours of the Capitol (guided or self-guided). Click on each track below to see a detailed schedule.
All participants are invited to attend the Minnesota Youth Council meeting at 2 p.m. at the Capitol to wrap up the day.
